TIMES: This workshop begins at 3pm on the Friday afternoon and concludes after lunch at 2pm on the Tuesday afternoon (arriving back at the airport by 4pm).
MEETING POINT: O'Reilly's Guest House, Lamington National Park.
GETTING THERE: Fly to Coolangatta (Gold Coast). We offer a complimentary pick up service from the airport to the workshop, leaving at 11am.
TRANSPORT: Take advantage of our complimentary pick up service from the airport to the workshop, alternatively hire a car from Coolangatta airport (a 90mins drive from Coolangatta).
PREREQUISTE: A basic understanding of your camera and photography is helpful (although we can show you a thing or two about this!!!)

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Lamington National Park, situated in the sotuh east coner of Queensland, is one of the states most well-known and accessible national parks. It's well known for it's lush rainforest, spectacular Antarctic Beech trees, waterfalls and birdlife.
For photographers, it's the stunning views across the valleys, the lush rainforest and the waterfalls that make Lamington a premier location for a workshop. Elabana Falls, one of the most picturesque falls in the park, will be a feature location for us on this workshop.
Staying at O'Reillys, the famous guesthouse situated on the edge of the escarpment right in the heart of the national park, each day we'll explore the various walking tracks that lead us to some of the best landscape locations at Lamington.
By night, well enjoy the fabulous cruisine at O'Reilly's then critique the days' images to improve our images for the following day.

SUITABLE FOR: Photographers who want to photograph some of the best photographic landscape locations in Australia under the expert tuitition of two of Australian landscape photographers.
WHAT TO EXPECT: A typical day starts with an early rise for sunrise, followed by breakfast back at our accommodation. Then taking a packed lunch, we'll head out for the day to photograph, finishing off with a killer sunset shoot (i always make sure I ordered the perfect sunsets for the workshop!). Dinner follows then a critiques with wine in hand (YIPPIE!!!). The days are a good balance between outdoor practical one-on-one tuition and indoor theory session that you can then apply immediately to your photography.
WHAT TO BRING: Camera, tripod, gadgets (because all photographers love their gadgets!), Compact Flash Cards, Camera Bag, your laptop computer, Power cable for laptop, Card reader, Hat, sunscreen, Walking boots, Clothes (inc warm ones), Rain Jacket, umbrella, Toiletries, Head torch, anything else that is vitally important that is not on this list…
PHYSICAL EXERTION: Moderate (some walking involved, up to three hours over the course of a full day at a leisurely, photographic pace).

MEALS: All meals are provided. All you need is to get yourself to Coolangatta airport!
WORKSHOP INVESTMENT: $3495 includes expert tuition, handouts, accommodation (twin share), meals, national park fees and permits. Single share is available - add $495.
